ABOUT US

Deyanna Jones-Respress most recently served as the Director of External Affairs for Comcast Cable.  In her role at Comcast she established and maintained relationships with local stakeholders, all while ensuring the company maintained its operating compliance. Additionally, she managed the company's community investment initiatives for the Atlanta region.

 

Jones-Respress started in the telecommunications industry in 2007 with The Weather Channel managing and negotiating the licensing contracts of the company's intellectual property assets. She later moved on to Charter Communications to manage state government relations in Georgia and Alabama.

Government Relations 

The focus of Georgia Strategy Partners is lobbying, issue management, and policy analysis at the local and state level for our clients.  We offer capabilities within government affairs and lobbying in order to effectively advocate important public policy issues with elected officials and key staff.  Our methodology has advanced the image of our clients with key decision makers locally and on the state level.  

Community Relations

Engagement

Georgia Strategy Partners know clients are more likely to achieve their desired goal when they have a positive image in the community.  Whether a corporation, small business, or non-profit group we work with our clients to create a community engagement strategy that is beneficial to the company and the communities they serve.  These strategic choices help guide their future.  Recently, GSP partnered with a nonprofit organization to help roll out an initiative to provide walking trails and paths in the community.  The process included stakeholder meetings with elected officials, landowners, and citizens.  This coordinated effort has lead to the design of a network of trails that is not only the desires of our non-profit client, but the communities impacted as well.  

Procurement

We help our clients meet key decision makers, understand the procurement process, assist with developing responses to RFPs and find potential partners. GSP acts as an effective business development partner for our clients. Recently, we assisted a small business client successfully bid on state and local contracts for becoming a transportation service provider.
