Deyanna Jones-Respress is the Director of External Affairs for Comcast Cable. In her role at Comcast she establishes and maintains relationships with local stakeholders, as well as ensures the company's franchise agreements are in compliance. Additionally, she manages the company's community investment initiatives for the northwest Metro Atlanta area.

 

Jones-Respress started in the telecommunications industry in 2007 with The Weather Channel managing and negotiating the licensing contracts of the company's intellectual property assets. She later moved on to Charter Communications to manage state government relations in Georgia and Alabama.

 

The Albany, Georgia native currently serves on the board of directors of the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance. In 2015, she became the first African-American to serve as chair of the Georgia Cable Association. Jones-Respress graduated from Georgia State University with a dual degree in Political Science and Urban Policy Studies. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband Brandon and their daughter, Aubrey.
